DAY 1 : HANOI (Dinner)

Welcome to Hanoi, the heart of Vietnam which is considered as a blend between the traditional and the modern beauties.

At Noi Bai Airport, INTOUR TRAVEL's guide and driver in Southeast Asia Tour Packages Vietnam To Thailand 16 Days 15 Nights will welcome then take you to your hotel to do check-in.

After relaxation, our guide will take you walk to the theatre and you will enjoy Water Puppet Show – A traditional art performance of Vietnam. After that, you will have a welcome dinner at local restaurant.

DAY 2 : HANOI (Breakfast, Lunch)

08.00 AM: After breakfast at the hotel, our tour guide will come to the hotel and pick you up to start the Hanoi city package tour.

You will start with a visit to Ho Chi Minh Complex. Here you can visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum where the corpse of Uncle Ho kept there.

Next you will visit the Presidential Palace - a nice French architecture in the garden and Ho Chi Minh House on stilt. Visiting the house you will see the simple life of Ho Chi Minh - the president in Vietnamese's spirit forever.

You will finish this area with One Pillar Pagoda - one of the most attractions in Hanoi you cannot miss with the special in architecture.

Having lunch and you will continue to the Temple of Literature - The first University of Vietnam.

The next destination will be Museum of Ethnology to learn more about Vietnam Culture.

Next you will explore Hanoi by traveling through the Old Quarter with 36 ancient streets in a traditional cyclo.

DAY 3 : HANOI, HALONG BAY (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

08.00 AM: Our driver will pick you up at the hotel, departing 3.5 hours to Halong Bay – the World Natural Heritage recognized by UNESCO twice.

Upon arrival, embark the cruise and enjoy welcome drink while having tour briefing. A sumptuous lunch will be served on board while the ship sailing further to the Bay, make your time to admire its dramatic limestone islands.

You can rest at your leisure on the sundeck or relax in your cabin.

In the afternoon, you will have time to swim in the warm and calm water or get on kayaks of your choice.

Kayaking is very easy for all levels and ages to do. Our expert and experienced guide surely instruct you basic paddling steps before leading you to explore the extraordinary beauty of Halong Bay.

After 01 hour exploring the bay, we will get back to the cruise for relaxation before attending Cooking class in the late afternoon.

DAY 4 : HALONG BAY, HANOI, DANANG, HOI AN (Breakfast, Brunch)

You will continue our journey on Tour Cruise Halong Bay in the early morning. A Tai Chi Class on the sun deck is a must that you should not miss when on a cruise.

Sitting on the upper deck, you can relax, sight-seeing while taking photos of the magnificent beauty of the rocky islands rising from the emerald water of the bay.

After breakfast, you will explore Sung Sot cave - one of the finest and widest grottoes of Halong Bay. Next, keep cruising and passing the fishing village with its unique way of life.

At 10.30 AM, our boat cruises back to the jetty, and you will enjoy the last moment in the bay before having a traditional Vietnamese lunch.

You leave the boat around 11:30 at noon, you go ashore and transfer back to Hanoi.

At a scheduled time, you will be transfered to Noi Bai airport to take the flight Hanoi - Danang.

Once in Danang airport, your Danang Package Tour 's driver and guide will pick you up and take you to your hotel in Hoi An.

DAY 5 : HOI AN (Breakfast)

Hoi An is an exceptionally well-preserved example of a South-East Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century where a lot of merchant coming from all over the world frequented and traded the high quality silk still produced there.

Today, Hoi An is an attractive destination that there is no Vietnam tour can skip, it famous for its Ancient Town, skillful tailor, and street cafes.

Enjoy a half-day walking tour in Hoian Package Tour through the narrow winding streets of the ancient town centre to see Chua Ong Pagoda, the Chinese Assembly Hall, the 200-year old Tan Ky ancestral house and the famous Japanese Bridge.

Next, continue with the last-but-not-least activity of the day. The highlight is to visit a lantern shop where artisans make Hoi An's famous lanterns.

You see the whole process then have a chance to create your own lanterns. You will be provided the bamboo that forms the base of your frame and colorful silk so that you can choose your own color pattern, and design. Once completed, you can take one as hand-made souvenir as these lanterns are easy to fold and carry.

DAY 6 : HOI AN (Breakfast, Lunch)

08:30AM: Your guide will meet you in your hotel lobby, than you will cycle around Hoi An towards the Tra Que vegetable village - About 150 farmers and 400 owners live on there and cultivate about 20 types of vegetables and herbs such as mint, lettuce, basil, cilantro, broccoli and many more. From the more than 40 hectares of land 8 tons of Village Tra vegetables are sold every year. The vegetable growers do not use pesticides or GMOs, using natural fertilizers instead, including seaweed found in the river and harvested by gardeners every morning.

Walk in Tra Que vegetable village and meet local people working in the garden. During the walk, you will cross vast rice fields in the countryside and quiet road, far away from the tourist trails. You will see the activities of the inhabitants through the villages of Hoian.

The local farmer will teach you all about cultivation methods and how to protect developing vegetable from the insects as well as join the farmers in preparing gardening activities such as raking the ground, sowing, watering greens, transplanting and tending greens.

Continue riding through paddy field, Ba Le market, kindergarten ... until reaching Van Lang fisherman village and Bay Mau coconut water forest - about 7 hectares, surrounded by mangrove forests, canals, houses covered by coconut water leaf . This place had ever been the refuge for people and local soldiers during the Vietnam War. Nowadays, it is famous for providing the most seafood products.

You will be warmly welcomed at Mr. Han – a 3 generations family, taste of green tea and stroll through the village. You will row a basket boat within the hands of skillful locals and discover their techniques of traditional fishery in water coconut forest.

Back Mr. Han’ family for enjoy a foot bath with medicinal herbs, traditional therapeutic practice before getting ready to prepare lunch with a local family.

Lunch will feature many local delicacies, such as Tam Huu spring rolls, BanhXeo local pancakes, grilled fish in banana leaf and others.

After lunch, free time and take a short rest before back to hotel to relax. 

Overnight in Hoi An.

DAY 7 : HOI AN, DANANG, HO CHI MINH (Breakfast)

After breakfast, is your free time to walk around the Hoi An ancient town, go shopping, admiring the ancient architecture or relax at the beach.

About 02 hours before the flight, our driver will come to your hotel and drive you to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City - one of the most modern cities in Vietnam which give you a fascinating insight into rich culture and history. When arriving at the airport, you will be taken to your hotel to check -in.

DAY 8 : HO CHI MINH (Breakfast, Lunch)

08.30 AM: After breakfast at hotel, your private guide will meet you at your hotel lobby to begin Cuchi Tunnels Half-day Tour.

A one and half hour drive takes you to Cu Chi Tunnels where human knowledge has been enriched by experiencing an web-like tunnels system of more than 200km in length which used to be the shelters of guerrillas during the war against American troops.

After the lunch in the local restaurant, in the afternoon, you will have The Ho Chi Minh city tour packages including the Reunification Hall or Independence Palace, formerly known as the Presidential Palace. It was towards this modern building that Communist tanks rolled on the morning of April 30, 1975, as Saigon fell. This fascinating building is filled with history still fresh in the minds of many.

The tour also includes the War Remnants Museum, the Old Post Office, Chinatown and Ben Thanh Market – the central market for the city and one of the liveliest areas.

DAY 9 : HO CHI MINH, MEKONG (Breakfast, Lunch)

07.30 AM: Heading out of the town, we set forth to the Mekong Delta, Vietnam's largest granary.

Mekong Delta Tour Packages will start with a visit of Cai Be floating market. Then, the rowing boat will take you deeper into the countryside on smaller canals to enjoy the peaceful time. Back to our boat to go across one of the longest river in the world, Mekong River, to come to An Binh Island.

Travel on a handmade canal to Ut Trinh home & have an optional lunch. After lunch, we can walk around this orchard & enjoy some cups of tea when listening to the traditional music in the ancient house.

Walk in the local village to visit the local workshop to see how to make rice paper, coconut candy, pop-rice... Enjoy some sweets with a cup of hot tea.

Optional biking can be made for a leisure! It will be so amazing to bike on village paths to see the local daily life: orchard, school, church, pagoda, traditional houses and maybe the ancestral ways to pick up fruits in Mekong Delta in South Of Vietnam...

Visit the brick kilns where you can see how the local people create beautiful potteries from clay. The cruise will end at Vinh Long city!

Then transfer back to Ho Chi Minh city by your private car. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 10 : HO CHI MINH, BANGKOK (Breakfast)

After breakfast, it is your own free time till our private airport transfer for your flight to Bangkok.

DAY 11 : BANGKOK (Breakfast)

After breakfast at the hotel you begin your sightseeing tour with our guide and driver.

Your tour begins at Wat Traimit, the temple of the Golden Buddha; the 900-year-old, five-and-a-half-ton solid gold image.

After this, you continue on to visit Wat Arun, better known as the Temple of the Dawn, which is one of the best known landmarks and most published landmarks of Bangkok.

Next, you will visit Wat Po, the largest and oldest temple in Bangkok, and also the temple holding the largest single Buddha image: the Reclining Buddha (Phra Buddhasaiyas). This temple is also known as the birthplace of Thai traditional massage.

We then go for lunch at a local restaurant, after which, we continue on to visit some of the most famous tourist spots in Bangkok: the Royal Grand Palace and the Emerald Buddha.

The Grand Palace adjoins Wat Phra Kaew in a common compound, and is where you will end up after exiting Wat Phra Kaew. Despite the proximity of the two, there is a distinct contrast in style between the very Thai Wat Phra Kaew and the more European inspired designs of the Grand Palace (the roof being the exception.

After this we return to the hotel and you are free at leisure. Overnight in Bangkok.

DAY 12 : BANGKOK, AYUTTHAYA (Breakfast, Lunch)

Breakfast at hotel. Then you will check out hotel in Bangkok.

After that, we head to Ayutthaya to visit the Bang Pa-In Summer Palace: beautifully decorated in both the traditional Chinese and European styles.

From here, a long-tail boat journey takes you up the Chao Phraya river to inner Ayutthaya to explore the temple ruins within and surrounding the Ayutthaya Historical Park.

Among the “must-see” attractions in Thailand are the palaces, temple ruins and historical sites of Ayutthaya. This former capital of Thailand is situated 90 km north of Bangkok. The principal sights include the gigantic bronze statues of Wat Mongkol Borpith, Wat Phra Srisanpetch and Wat Yai Chai Mongkol.

A traditional Thai long-tail boat will transport guests between sites, and this tour also includes a boat trip to Bang Pa-In, a former Royal Summer Residence, which represents a fine example of Thai architecture.

Lunch will also be served during this tour. Afterwards, we transfer to the hotel and you are free at leisure.

Overnight in Ayutthaya.

DAY 13 : BANGKOK, CHIANG MAI (Breakfast)

02 hours before your flight: Our drive will transfer you to Bangkok airport for your flight to Chiang Mai.

Upon arrival in Chiang Mai, meet guide and transfer to hotel for check in and relax.

DAY 14 : CHIANG MAI (Breakfast, Lunch)

08.00AM: Our tour guide pick you up at your hotel to visit Chiangmai city tour by TukTuk. The tour includes Wat Pra Singh - one of over 200 ancient Buddhist temples located around the city, one of the most well regarded examples of Lanna architecture.

Continue visiting Wat Chediluang. The temple is the site of an enormous pagoda, originally 280 feet high, and which was partially destroyed by an earthquake in 1545.

Then transfer to Warorot Market, to see and feel the real northern people’s way of life.

Lunch at restaurant.

Afternoon transfer by minivan to Doi Suthep Temple, the most sacred temple upon the hill with its enormous mythological Nagas staircase of 306 steps and inside the cloister is an intriguing copper-placed chedi topped by five-tier gold parasol, which contains relics of Lord Buddha. Then return to hotel to relax after the tour.

Overnight in Chiang Mai.

DAY 15 : CHIANG MAI, CHIANG RAI (Breakfast, Lunch)

After breakfast at hotel, our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and drive to Chiang Rai. On the way, you will visit a hot spring.

Continue driving for 1.5 hours to White Temple (Wat Rongkhun). Then carry on to the three country borders meet which called "Golden Triangle", take long tail boat on Khong River.

Have lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, drive to Maesai, the Thailand & Myanmar border city. Finally, visit the Akha, Yao and Long Neck hill tribe villages on the way back to Chiang Mai.

Overnight in Chiang Mai.

DAY 16 : CHIANG MAI (Breakfast)
